Our twist on the A-frame, Blue Sage No. 2 floats ten feet over a dry creek bed. Helical stairs rise through the center of the space to the lofted king bedroom. On the main floor is a well-appointed kitchen, bathroom, dining area, and living area with books, board games and a vinyl record player. The full bathroom includes a large walk-in shower, double vanity with mirrors, flush toilet (people ask) and heated tile floors. This dwelling also has a large private deck with a big Texas Red Oak rising straight through it. Stairs lead down to a private brick patio in the dry creek bed below the treehouse and an outdoor stock tank bathtub for the most adventurous.

Other amenities include: Efficiency kitchen with fridge & freezer, gas cooktop, microwave, toaster, Keurig & French press, water kettle, as well as essential pots, pans, utensils, and dishes. Locally roasted coffee grounds as well as Keurig pods, cream, sugar and tea bags are provided. Kitchen is stocked with salt, pepper, oil, and other cooking basics.

  • Parking is available a short walk from the unit (down an approximately 200ft gravel path.) Must be able to climb stairs to enter.

    Please note that the bedroom and bathroom are located on different floors.

  • Check-in: 3 p.m.
    Check-out: 11 a.m.

    Smoking inside: not allowed
    Parties and events: not allowed
    Pets: not allowed.

    Additional rules:
    Two adults maximum

    No smoking, no parties, no events. Please respect the privacy and tranquility of any other guests on the property: no loud music in outdoor areas.

    Cancellation policy: 100% refund up to 30 days before arrival. 50% refund up to 14 days before arrival.

Blue Sage is located just 10 minutes outside of Fredericksburg on Ranch Road 965. Be mindful when planning your stay to use the directions sent to you along with your reservation instead of relying on Google or Apple Maps.

No. 2 offers self check-in with the keypad and your unique guest code. Check-in is available starting at 3 p.m. the day of your reservation. Check-out is at 11 a.m. the day of your departure.
