Navigation apps haven’t yet updated with our exact address, but The Meadow is located within 100 yards of 1277 Durst Maurer Road, Fredericksburg, TX 78624. Feel free to use that address to get an accurate location when planning your stay, or reference the map provided on each treehouses’s booking page. While HoneyTree is secluded and quiet, we’re also conveniently located only 8 minutes from Main Street Fredericksburg!

Blue Sage is located just 10 minutes outside of Fredericksburg on Ranch Road 965. Be mindful when planning your stay to use the directions sent to you along with your reservation instead of relying on Google or Apple Maps.

Depending on which hideaway you stay in, on-site parking or walkable parking to your stay is available for free during the duration of your visit to HoneyTree.

HoneyTree offers self check-in with the keypad using your unique guest code which will be shared with you prior to your stay. Check-in is available starting at 3:00 p.m. the day of your reservation. Check-out is at 11 a.m. the day of your departure.

At the Meadow, The Leaf, The Live Oak, and The Acorn all have outdoor tubs.

At Blue Sage, No. 2, No. 4, No. 7, No. 9, and No. 11 all have outdoor tubs.

At Blue Sage, Units No. 3, No. 6, and No. 10 are entirely stair free!

At the Meadow, the Sapling has the fewest stairs.

No smoking, no parties or events. Please respect the privacy and tranquility of any other guests on the property: no loud music or parties of any kind.

Please keep glass overhead doors closed after dark (insects will swarm in if it’s left open). Also please avoid running the AC/heat when the door is open.

Please wear appropriate shoes if you hike the property. We are not responsible for any injuries.

No hunting or fishing is allowed at HoneyTree.

Check-in is available starting at 3:00 p.m. the day of your reservation. Check-out is at 11 a.m. the day of your departure.

Check out instructions- If you’d like to leave any used towels in the bathroom, that would be wonderful. Otherwise, our cleaner will handle everything come check out (:

Due to the remote and intimate nature of our stays, HoneyTree does not allow group travel. Our elevated treehouse stays and hideaways are perfect for solo travelers or couples looking to reconnect and recharge. While HoneyTree is designed to be a romantic getaway, babies and small children are also welcome. Feel free to bring your own pack-n-play or extra bedding to make their stay as comfortable as possible!

At the Meadow, both our Sapling and Sycamore treehouses are pet friendly. Over at Blue Sage, No. 1, No. 3, No. 11, and No. 12 are all pet friendly. We do charge a $100 pet fee for any furry friend tag-alongs!

While HoneyTree is designed to be a romantic getaway, babies and small children are also welcome. Bring your own pack-n-play or extra bedding to make their stay as comfortable as possible! We recommend staying at The Live Oak, The Sycamore or The Sapling with small children, as The Acorn and The Leaf are treehouses 10+ feet above the ground with a lot of stairs.

We currently honor full refunds of any stay that is cancelled within 48 hours of booking. Stays cancelled 30 days prior to your arrival will receive a 100% refund (excluding payment processing fees.) Stays cancelled 14 days prior to your arrival date will receive a 50% refund, (excluding payment processing fees.)

On the day of your arrival, you’ll receive an email from us at 8:00 AM containing everything you should need for a smooth check-in. If you would like that information before then, please visit your Guest Portal that is linked in your booking comfirmation message.

If it is past 8:00AM and you have not received your check in email, please email reservations@honeytreefbg.com or contact us via the phone number listed in your Guest Portal for assistance.

We recommend flying into either San Antonio International Airport (SAT) which is 80 miles from Fredericksburg or Austin-Bergstrom International Airport (AUS) which is 85 miles from Fredericksburg when planning your trip to HoneyTree.

The Meadow is located 8 minutes from Main Street Fredericksburg.

Blue Sage is located 12 minutes from Main Street Fredericksburg.

We highly recommend Enchanted Rock, a stunning geologic formation that should be on your bucket list – it’s like Joshua Tree, but with a huge granite dome in the middle with exceptional birding! We’re also a short drive from the Guadalupe River, which offers stunning views.
